Hot Chocolate Pop Directions

Instructions

  • Heat a mug of milk (your choice) 3/4 full in the microwave or on the stove until steaming.
  • Dunk your pop in the milk. Let sit for 30 seconds and then stir vigorously until all the chocolate is melted. You may need to smash it on the bottom a little to get it started.

Blacked Spice Rub Marinade

Blacked Rub Marinade

Turn our blacked rub into a marinade. Great for fish, shrimp and chicken.

  • 3 T Blackened Rub – Mild or Hot
  • 1/3 cup Olive Oil
  • 2 large limes or lemons, juiced

Instructions
 

  • Mixed all the ingredients together in a Ziploc bag. Add your protein and marinate for 30 min.

Strawberry Mint Cocktail

Strawberry Mint Cocktail

A perfect summer cocktail. Enjoy this strawberry mint cocktail with gin or vodka. Leave out the alcohol for a delicious mocktail.

Ingredients
  

  • 6 leaves mint also delicious with basil
  • 2 T JM Treats & Eats Strawberry Preserves
  • 4 oz gin or vodka I used Barr Hill Gin (made with honey)
  • 1 oz honey simple syrup recipe below
  • soda water

Honey Simply Syrup

  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 cup water

Instructions
 

  • Fill two rocks glasses with ice and set aside
  • Muddle the mint leaves in a cocktail shake until you can smell the mint.
  • Add JM Treats & Eats Strawberry Preserves, gin or vodka, honey simple syrup and a handful of ice. Shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds.
  • Strain mixture into rocks glasses and top off with soda water. Garnish with a mint leaf or slice of strawberry.

Honey Simple Syrup

  • Mix 1/2 cup honey and 1 cup water in a small sauce pan.
  • Heat over low heat, stirring often, until honey has completely dissolved.
  • Pour into a mason jar and let cool to room temp. Store in the refrigerator.

BBQ Ribs

BBQ Ribs

Oven BBQ ribs slathered in the most delicious sticky sweet and spicy barbecue sauce.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 rack St. Louis or BBQ Ribs
  • 1 bottle Grandma's BBQ or Pineapple Habanero BBQ
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp chili powder

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 275.
  • Prepare ribs. Remove silver skin from the under side of the rack of ribs. Place bone side down in a large roasting pan.
  • Mix spices together in a small bowl. Season both sides of ribs with spice mixture and rub into the meat.
  • Pour BBQ sauce over rack of rib, making sure to coat completely. Add 1 cup water to pan around the ribs. Do not pour over.
  • Cover roasting pan tightly with foil. Cook for 3 hours. When, done ribs should be fork tender. Let ribs cool. Wrap in foil and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
  • Finish ribs on the grill or in the broiler. Brush with extra sauce and cook until sauce is caramelized.

BBQ Chicken

BBQ chicken thighs and legs

Chicken legs and thighs. They are cooked until they have a crispy skin and then topped with sweet and tangy bbq sauce.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb bone in skin on chicken drumsticks
  • 1 lb bone in skin on chicken thighs
  • 1 bottle JM Treats & Eats BBQ sauce
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp onion powder

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375. Put chicken skin side up in a oven safe dish.
  • Sprinkle chicken evenly with garlic powder, salt, pepper and onion powder.
    Coat all sides of chicken.
  • Roast chicken for 30 minutes. Baste with pan juices. Continue roasting for 15 min. Baste with pan juices. Roast for another 15 minutes or until skin is crispy.
  • Finish chicken on the grill with BBQ sauce or brush chicken with BBQ sauce and put under the broiler until caramelized.

Fish Tacos

Fish Tacos

Grilled or crispy fish topped with a fresh broccoli slaw.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lbs Grilled or crispy fish fillets
  • 1 bag Broccoli Slaw
  • 1/2 cup Corn fresh cut off the cob
  • 2 T chopped onion
  • 1 T butter

Instructions
 

  • Season fish with salt, pepper, garlic powder. Grill fish until white and flaky. If using frozen fish, cook as directed. When fish is finished, cut up grilled or crispy fish into strips or bite sized pieces.
  • Slaw – In a small skillet, melt 1 T butter over medium heat. Add corn and onions and season with salt and pepper. Saute until onions are soft and starting to brown. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature. Once cool, mix corn mixture and broccoli slaw in a bowl. Add cilantro or parsley to taste.
  • Prepare tacos in hard or soft shells. Add grilled or crispy fish and top with JM Treats & Eats Pineapple Habanero Jam and broccoli slaw.
